In the late 2010, I learned to smile at more things.
And it helped me learn that the only things we need to do is to respect our time, stop being lazy, push our limits, and sit back with a smile.. and life gives you what's possibly the best. Its *that* uncomplicated. This policy has kept my happiness curve always above the line of frustration throughout the year. Let me just believe that more smiles have made me more handsome :)
One of my best creations in the year that was would be the Penciling blogger template. The new strokes and paints in the design did compensate for all the naivety of a first-time template publishing. I wish to bring more ideas in the coming year that would splatter colours in people's mind. Its a good feeling to know that more than ten thousand people have tried out your template :rainbow
Social networking became a more important part of life. That was not a general statement. Typing this with my laptop on the lap, connected to The Internet over the air, am I feeling a little bit.. geeky? Facebook has become an unavoidable fact. But it helped me find my long lost penpal :hOn the other hand, the blogging world is ever more beautiful. I feel proud and happy, looking back at the blogger friends from the yesteryear, and at those who came before and stayed until now. And those whom I'm looking forward to meet someday. *ahm*
You watch a movie like Into the Wild, you read a book like Atlas Shrugged, your best friend helps you identify some part of your life that you could never comprehend, and you're never ever the same again.
I don't consider it a great thing that I didn't make any severe enemies in the past year. It is possible that I may be making compromises. But the really good thing is, I don't remember losing any friendships. It is possible that I'm close to the finale set of stable awesome friends.
et on Fire, the comic, did well. Not that I was much regular on it. But it seems that et has walked into the hearts of a bunch more people.
No resolutions.
The idea is to let creativity fly. Create more colours, as I mentioned earlier. Face more of the real world.
I also want to catch up on some of the interesting movies, books, songs, games whatnot.
And let life surprise me with the sparks of luck, its occasional gifts of moments, or may be a whole surprise party if I'm doing really good.
PS: I also did take a look at my last year's New year post. I'd like to say I'm pretty impressed by the amount of positivity and about the amount of progress I'd made back then. It is titled 'Walking Up', and its good to know I've been indeed walking up.
